Mariame McIntosh Robinson

Mariame McIntosh Robinson

The advisors who impact your business have done more than study it — they have run one. Mariame McIntosh Robinson brings the judgment of a former bank CEO, the rigour of McKinsey and Bain, and the perspective of an active board director to every engagement. Her clients get a thought partner who has been accountable for outcomes, not just opinions.

Her career arc is uncommon: eight years in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company and Bain & Company, followed by seven years as Partner at Portland Private Equity, the Caribbean's largest private equity fund. She then spent seven years as President & CEO of First Global Bank in Jamaica, leading a transformation that more than doubled profitability within three years. During that time she served on the Executive Committee of GraceKennedy Group, First Global Bank's parent company, and on various subsidiary boards within the financial services division.

Prior board roles at Digicel, Parkland Corporation (TSX-listed), and United Way Worldwide — where she served as Vice-Chair — spanned telecoms, energy, and the US non-profit sector. She holds the NACD Directorship Certification™ and the Certificate in Risk Governance from the DCRO Institute.

Mariame is co-Founder of TEACH Caribbean and iamtheCODE Caribbean, and holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from MIT, an MPhil in Economics from Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
